On behalf of Fatih University and International Association of Universities, I am very pleased to invite you to the 2nd International Congress on Trends in Higher Education; Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The Congress is organized by the International Association of Universities and Fatih University. Invited participants are presidents of universities and academicians from different countries.
The purpose of the congress is to provide a unique international forum to discuss foresights and new trends of Innovation and Entrepreneurship related to higher education both in Turkey and in the world. It is also aimed to examine the basic problems and challenges of higher education and come up with some innovative solutions.
This scientific forum is expected to achieve innovative and strategic perspectives in higher education through the exchange of up-to-date information, panel discussions, workshops and tutorials.
The ICTHE 2012 Congress, under the able leadership of our Scientific Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Ayhan Bozkurt and the Congress Organization Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Nader Nada, are preparing a program that will cover most current topics of higher education such as entrepreneurial education and innovation in the areas of Technology, Quality, Curriculum, Infrastructure, Education environment, Learning methods and techniques.
The Congress will be held in Istanbul, 2010 European Capital of Culture. Istanbul is a city uniting two continents with different cultures and civilizations, from the ancient Greek, Roman, and Ottoman Empires to the modern Republic of Turkey. Thus, it always played an important role as a city of peace in history. There will be some social activities and tours whereby the congress participants will have the chance to enjoy the history and the charm of Bosphorus.
